Blend Challenges - About
What is a blend? A blend is when you take two or more images and then, 'blend' them together so they look like one image.We award Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners - where we feel a blend is outstanding we will award a Platinum award, which is the higest award we give. We may also give Honors where we feel they are deserved. We may also award the more unique blends too.
We judge each blend on their own merit - we do not judge blends against each other, so you will normally see more than one person listed for each award we give. We look for blending skills, use of brushes, textures, colours & text etc, and for originality & style.
Each challenge we will provide you with either images to use/and or subjects to base your blend on.
There will be clear instructions on what the blend requirements for each challenge are, so please follow them precisely. Any blends that do not adhere to the requirements will automatically be disqualified.
To submit your finished blend, please fill out the form provided.
- You must use at least 2 images.
- Please use only the images provided unless otherwise stated.
- Images must be no bigger than 1440 x 900 but no smaller than 400 x 400 unless otherwise stated.
- You may submit file types jpg, png, gif, but not bmp as they take too long to load.
- Up to 1 entries per person per challenge but you can enter as many challenges as you like.
- Save your blend as follows:
RD-ch#-yourname.jpg
Example: RD-1-sarah.jpg - You may not submit a blend for BotM or Cotm that you have entered into a previous round.
- You must upload your images to your own server or a free server such as Photobucket.
- If you do not have your own server or it does not allow direct linking
then please Email Us with the subject line: Blend Challenge - And it goes without saying, NO PLAGARISM. The piece you submit must be your own work!! DO NOT STEAL ANYONE ELSES WORK & CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN!!
